She began to participate in ventriloquism in 2014 where she won age brackets in The International Cinderella Scholarship Program. To get rid of her shyness, she participated in Talent-based Pageants. She miss the first day of seventh grade to attend Live on America’s Got Talent on August 16.
After some months of practice, she won the local talent show, gained the attention of coach Gary Owen.
In July 2016, she became a young child ventriloquist to perform in the evening show of Vent Haven International Ventriloquists’ ConVENTion. She participated in Little Big Shots in the UK in the same year.
In September 2017, she attend The Ellen DeGeneres show. she stages performed at various events, like One Night with the Stars and a New Year’s Eve event at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas,

Winner Of Season 12 of ‘America’s Got Talent’
Having already won junior division shows Edmond’s Got Talent (2014) and Oklahoma’s Got Talent and Oklahoma Kids (2015), Darci Lynne entered the NBC talent show America’s Got Talent (in 2017).
Thanks to proficiency with ventriloquism & singing, she got “Golden Buzzer” on her audition, which directly advanced her to quarter-finals. Her second performance “Anything You Can Do” saw her a standing ovation & into the Top 5.
On September 20, 2017, during the Season finale, Darci made a history of being the youngest-ever to win America’s Got Talent, Season 12. In the show, Filipi-American singer Angelica Hale finished runner-up while the LED dance group Light Balance became the second runner-up.
