For more than 4 years, she stayed clean from any disputes until December 2019, when she filed a lawsuit & accused a fellow Fox News George Murdoch (aka Tyrus) of sexual harassment. Moreover, the lawsuit included Fox News & its executive producer Jennifer Rauchet (wife of Pete Hegseth) as they tried to keep away the issue discreetly and supported Tyrus.

And after 2 years, both parties agreed on a settlement and voluntarily dismissed the case. Reportedly, the nondisclosure agreement saw McHenry an undisclosed sum of money and a waiver from the network and Fox Nation. But she will continue to work for Washington D.C.-based WTTG Fox 5 shows.

The Fox 5 personality’s family did get through health troubles. Britt’s mother survived cancer two times, while the TV host herself was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She made a Tweet on February 27, 2020, about the diagnosis with the tumor. On March 4, 2020, she underwent surgery.

Later on April 26 that year, Britt McHenry made an Instagram post about her recovery. Now she works as a brain cancer research advocate.
