Chris Sligh, a finalist in season six of American Idol, is engaging with COVID-19-related pneumonia. On Monday, the contemporary Christian vocalist posted an image of himself seeming unwell in a clinical office, with the inscription, “My reality at the present time. COVID suuuuucks.”
His condition hasn’t improved. “I’ll attempt to connect with the same number of individuals as I can exclusively, yet freely let me state thank you for the petitions and kind words,” he writes in another Instagram post.

Chris Sligh shared, “I have COVID that has devolved into pneumonia. Breathing without pain or coughing is difficult & I didn’t get much sleep last night, but hopefully, the antibiotics do their work fast.”
On account of his profound spat Idol’s 2007 season, Sligh has appreciated an eminent diagram profession. His collection Empty Me from 2008 topped at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, and two different sets (Only You Can Save Me at No. 12, One at No. 29) have affected the Top 40.
Sligh has entered the Christian AC Songs graph on four events, including a No. 7 best for 2008’s “Vacant Me.” Another single “Beyond anything we could ever imagine” dropped February 28, and a re-recording of “One” is expected out Thursday (July 8).
