Platinum hit singer Adele opens about the impact caused around the world from George Floyd murder.
Grammy recipient artist Adele is sharing her response towards the tragic killing of George Floyd and the ongoing protests regarding racism and police cruelty.
On Monday, the Adele took a stand in opposition to Floyd’s demise on Instagram, communicating her help for the quiet fights and walks the world over and how the world needs to instruct themselves to push ahead.
The 32-year old wrote, “George Floyd’s murder has sent shockwaves around the world, there are countless others that haven’t.” Rolling in the Deep hitmaker added,
Protests and marches are happening all over the globe simultaneously and only gaining momentum. So be righteously angered but be focused! Keep listening, keep asking and keep learning!
The singer explained it is “important we don’t get disheartened, hijacked or manipulated right now,” adding that “this is about systematic racism, this is about police violence and it’s about inequality.
The ‘Rolling in the Deep’ hitmaker post comes right after a week – after passing of Floyd, 46, which on May 25. For those who are unaware, Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin stooped on Floyd’s neck for a few minutes in spite of Floyd’s weeps for help until he passed away due to suffocation. Chauvin has since been captured for third-degree murder.

Although the ongoing protests in honor of Floyd’s life have exploded everywhere in the United States, Adele wrote that the movement “isn’t only about America!”
“Racism is alive and well everywhere,” she said.
“I wholeheartedly stand in solidarity with the fight for freedom, liberation, and justice ♥️,” the Grammy-winner wrote, adding the hashtags “black lives matter,” “George Floyd” and, “say their names.”
